Download and print Philippians 4 Cards and keep in your wallet, purse, car, etc. (Use this cutting guide to trim the cards.) Write out your eight positive things on the back of the card. When you struggle with anxiety, pull out the card and follow the five steps. Then turn the card over and take the preventative steps of thinking about positive things you wrote down. The more you do this, the more easily you will find yourself gaining victory over worry.
Discipline is like a muscle. The more you exercise it the stronger it will grow. As your discipline in conquering worry grows, your troubles may not become easier, but your ability to not worry about them will make them seem easier to handle. As this becomes a habit over the next few months, anxiety will become rare and thanking God in the midst of challenges will become normal.
